Not all of what RWC does is political. There is another side to RWC that focuses on the causes we believe in - such as, supporting our veterans, military troops, and caring for our local community.

Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America (WAA)

REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

On December 14, 2024 at 12:00 pm (wreath placement beginning at 8:00 a.m.), Republican Women of Clifton will be helping Arlington National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Caring For America

Caring For America

The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) established the Caring for America program in 1999 to encourage state federations and clubs to actively participate in at least one community service program. Caring for America is based on the belief that problems can be solved most effectively through the generosity and combined energies of individual citizens.

Mamie Eisenhower Literacy Program

Mamie Eisenhower Literacy Program (MELP)

The Mamie Eisenhower Library Project (MELP) is the NFRW’s oldest program, celebrating over 60 years of book donations from an approved list to schools, libraries, hospitals and other public institutions.

In 1961, the NFRW established the Mamie Eisenhower Library Project as a memorial honoring the former Republican First Lady who served for decades as a military wife and prepared the family home for over 30 moves during President Eisenhower’s military service to our country.
