Voter Registration Deadline

Absentee Ballot

  • Absentee ballots mailed beginning January 19
  • The deadline to request a Vote by Mail absentee ballot is 5:00 p.m., October 25.
  • Online request
  • Mail-in request
  • Submit in person or by drop-box by 7:00 p.m., June 18
  • Mail on or before November 5, Election Day

Early Voting

  • Any registered Fairfax County voter may vote early at any Fairfax County early voting location
  • First day of in-person early voting at your local registrar's office is Friday, September 20.
  • Last day of in-person early voting at your local registrar's office is Saturday, November 2.
  • If you received a ballot in the mail, you must bring it with you and surrender it to vote in person
  • Curbside voting is available for eligible voters
  • Dropboxes are available during satellite operating hours
