Republican Women of Clifton consider The College Funding Coach® Little-Known Secrets of Paying for College at April 24 Meeting

CLIFTON, VA, March 4, 2019 - The Republican Women of Clifton (RWC) welcomes Carrie Morris, a Certified Financial Planner ™ and Retirement Income specialist to speak on The College Funding Coach® - Little Know Secrets of Paying for College. The event will take place Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Fairview Elementary School, 5815 Ox Road, Fairfax Station. The social half-hour will begin at 7 pm; business meeting and presentation follows at 7:30 pm

Carrie Morris was the Vice President of the Washington, D.C. area’s most successful locally-owned SAT preparatory company.  Her experience includes sales, informational presentations at local high schools, college application assistance and counseling.  In addition, she has conducted business development and taught SAT courses pro-bono for underprivileged students.  She prides herself on building and maintaining long-term relationships.

Upon changing careers in 2012, Carrie thought she’d leave the college process forever.  She couldn’t escape for long and realized she missed helping families through the daunting college process; she jumped on board with the College Funding Coach soon after.  Carrie works to help parents find strategic ways to fund college without undermining their retirement income plans.

“When my children were in elementary school, college seemed so far away, but, in retrospect, that was when our planning should have begun. I am so pleased we can offer this important topic for today’s parents,” said Tyna Gaylor, RWC President.
