There’s lots to do on July 4th, but the Republican Women of Clifton have focused on two events in particular that overlap slightly. The first event begins at noon at Centreville’s Bull Run park – the 38th Annual National Conservative Fourth of July Soiree. Adnan Barqawi will be one of the speakers!
The next event is very important for our group, and that is our participation in the Clifton July 4th parade! It will mean leaving Bull Run park in time to get to Clifton by 3:40 to assemble for the parade. We’ll meet at Tim Hugo’s office at 7144 Clifton Road, Clifton (to the left of the General Store). Please wear something red and/or festive. The parade route is fairly short, and there’s a picnic afterwards.
If you have to choose between one of these events – please make it the parade! How many of us have ever marched in one? It will be fun!
